As the Executive Director of Communications at Westco, I help lead an agency that works with clients to improve lives through strategic communications. I oversee a team of experts in research, digital, and creative fields who collaborate to deliver impactful campaigns and communication-led solutions for the public sector.
With over 15 years of experience in local government communications and policy, I have a deep understanding of the public sector and its challenges and opportunities. I have successfully managed complex and sensitive projects, such as crisis management, stakeholder engagement, and policy development. Before joining the public sector, I was an award-winning editor and journalist who worked for national newspapers in the UK and overseas. I was awarded a Fellowship of the PRCA ‘for my outstanding contribution to public relations and communications.’ I am also a PR PRO Global Award winner.
