Word from the president

Danijel KoletićFounder and chairman of the PRO PR Globe Awards organizing committee

Welcome to the PRO PR Globe Awards story

PRO PR Globe Awards is a success story. This story is unique in the world. It rewards individuals through the PRO PR Globe Communication Achievement Awards, for which they do not need to pay any financial fee to receive the award, but former winners nominate future ones in accordance with the regulations.

This was also recognized by world associations such as the Public Relations and Communication Association (PRCA), International Public Relations Association (IPRA), International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO), Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), and DAVOS, which directly or through their members, former winners, participate in the nomination process.

The PRO PR Globe Awards has become synonymous with a recognition that transparently recognizes leaders who, with their teams, have left their mark on the communications process.

Behind every individual, behind every team, regardless of whether it is the private sector, the public sector, or the sector of non-profit organizations, projects are created that send certain messages, have an impact on the social community, and the company, raise awareness, and influence changes. That’s why I launched the PRO PR Globe Communication Achievement Awards, which will award projects.

Here you can learn about the categories, how to apply, and get all the information. Apply and be recognized globally. Be proud of your projects, and your achievements. Provide the opportunity through your application for your project to enter the finals or be awarded by an expert jury.

The PRO PR Globe Communication Achievement Awards is unique in the world.

The fact of this statement lies in the awards that will be awarded for the first time in the world for the categories PRO PR Globe Traditional Event Communication Achievement Awards, PRO PR Globe Music Discography Communication Achievement Awards, PRO PR Globe Green Industry Communication Achievement Awards, PRO PR Globe National Park Communication Achievement Awards, PRO PR Globe Sports Communication Achievement Awards and PRO PR Globe Tourism Hospitality Communication Achievement Awards. The PRO PR Globe Communication Achievement Awards program provides an opportunity to apply together with agencies and the public sector, NGOs, and the private sector.

In this way, we respect diversity, and value knowledge and creativity, which is ultimately the driver of every creation. I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of the PRO PR Globe Awards story so far and those who will be in the future. Welcome, I wish you much success in your future work.

How the PRO PR Globe Awards was born

In 2011, Danijel Koletić created the concept of the PRO PR Globe Awards as the first award in the world focused on individuals who deal with public relations and are part of communication management, so since its foundation until today, awards have been annually awarded in this category from all continents to individuals whose creative activities positively impacted on different functions.

There is no charge for this award concept, no financial fee is paid for this award, but in accordance with the publicly available regulations, former winners of this award nominate future ones. According to publicly available data, Communicator of the Year awards and Person of the Year awards have been awarded around the world to individuals who are about to retire or have retired.

Since 2019, 4 world associations (Public Relations and Communication Association – PRCA, International Public Relations Association – IPRA, International Communications Consultancy Organization – ICCO, Chartered Institute of Public Relations – CIPR), have been involved in the nomination process either directly or through the winners (to be listed) participating in the nomination process.

With the aim of rewarding team successes through projects that created a certain awareness and effect on the processes of the organization or social community, Danijel Koletić makes a decision, and after analyzing all the leading award programs at the world or national level, launch the PRO PR Globe Communication Achievement Awards.

Together with his team in 2023, he started the process of analyzing the situation and defined award categories that do not exist nor are they awarded for successes in specific areas that also require communication skills. Thus, the PRO PR Globe Communication Achievement Awards has a total of 22 categories, of which six (PRO PR Globe Traditional Event Communication Achievement Awards, PRO PR Globe Music Discography Communication Achievement Awards, PRO PR Globe Green Industry Communication Achievement Awards, PRO PR Globe National Park Communication Achievement Awards, PRO PR Globe Sports Communication Achievement Awards and PRO PR Globe Tourism Hospitality Communication Achievement Awards) are appearing globally for the first time. In this way, a contribution is made to the communication industry, but its history is also changed and new standards are set. He would especially like to thank Jacqueline Purcell and Charles Skinner who, with their guidance, contributed to the PRO PR Globe Communication Achievement Awards having its uniqueness.
