The PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards was founded in 2012 at the 10th PRO PR conference. The PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards is a unique award program that awards recognition to individuals who independently, with the support of their teams, realized a vision of prosperity through communications for their organizations, and also the public relations industry, following ethical standards.
The PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards recognitions were created after analyses of all global and national award programs and was concluded that no award program on the global level in the field of public relations is focused on individuals, but mostly all programs in the field of awards are inside the industry of public relations with the public focused on projects if it is about individuals who worked on projects. If we are talking about awards inside the public relations industry, individuals are either nominated through a financial payment or presented with lifetime achievement awards. The nominated candidates are not required to pay a fee for the PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards recognition.
Since 2019, the PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards has been the only award program in which the winners are nominated by the members and the leading people of the five world communication associations: International Public Relations Association – IPRA, International Communication Consultancy Organization – ICCO, Public Relations and Communications Association – PRCA, Chartered Institute of Public Relations – CIPR and World Communications Forum Association – WCFA. The commission, which includes former winners of this recognition and members of the organizing committee, decides on the winners based on data collected after the nomination process.
Winners of the PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards are presented with unique statues of Academy of Fine Arts students from the countries where the conference itself is organized as part of the “Business & Art” program, which enables students of the Academy of Fine Arts to present themselves in this practical way.
