In 2021, Katja Fašink graduated from Oxford University’s Corporate Affairs Academy and Saïd Business School, as well as Oxford’s courses: Artificial Intelligence and the Climate Emergency program. She is a Ph.D. candidate, and a member of the Oxford-GlobeScan Global Corporate Affairs Board/Council and the Oxford Executive Education Alumni Club.

With an appropriate communication strategy, ELES was nominated in September 2019 for the CHARGE Award (Iceland). The annual reports of ELES received the first Business Academy Finance award for 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 among large companies. In 2021, Katja Fašink won the first prize for ELES at the international Davos Communications Awards in the Best Corporate Affairs category. As the head of corporate communications for the ELES Group, she was ranked among the three finalists (competitors from the USA) for the Best Leader in Public Relations and Communications. In 2022, ELES took second place at the Davos Communications Awards in the Best Corporate Affairs category, Katja Fašink was awarded second place for the Best Leader in Public Relations and third place for the Best Crisis Communications Leader.

In 2022 with the Energy and Climate Literacy project, ELES was the finalist in the Purpose-Driven Communications Award of the Reuters Events category.
