Ilarija Bašić is the PR Director at MITA Group, an advertising agency.
She has 15 years of experience in media and PR.
Ilarija graduated in journalism and has worked for six years as an editor and TV host at the national TV station. She joined MITA Group as a PR Manager before being promoted to her current position.
After successful completion of School for Strategic Communication by Mediacentar Sarajevo, in cooperation with The Center for Strategy and Communication London, Ilarija enrolled in joint master studies at the University La Sapienza, Roma, and the University of Sarajevo. She dedicated her master’s thesis to Integrated marketing and PR communication strategies.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with the biggest international and domestic clients and attended numerous educational and informative seminars. Ilarija is a speaker at conferences, a motivational speaker, mentor to young colleagues.
For the past 9 years, she has been in charge of planning and execution of external and internal communication strategies for the agency’s clients including strategic planning, government relations, brand and corporate PR, corporate responsibility, and internal communication.
Ilarija is specialized in crisis communication and reputation management.
