“The beginning of the rise of my career begins with my arrival at Tehnomont in 1987, when I got a job in accounting. Four years later, I became the head of the department, and from 1995 the president of the Supervisory Board. In 1998, I was appointed as the General Director of the Tehnomont Group, and in 2012, I changed my title to the President of the Management Board of Tehnomont d.d. Today I am the president of Tehnomont Group. Tehnomont Group employs 500 workers. We are engaged in shipbuilding, production of steel structures, production of solar panels, nautical tourism and execution of investment works abroad. I was a member of the Economic and Social Council of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
I was a member of the Economic Council of the President of the Republic. I have many years of involvement with the Croatian Association of Employers and have held several positions; president of the Association of Metal Industry, president of the coordination of CRO industry, member of the Executive Board and from 2014 I am the president of HUP until 2020. I was the president of the Association of Business Women “Krug” of the Istrian County. I am a two-time winner of the award for manager of the year in 2008 and 2013 by the Association
business women. In 2011, I won the CROME award for manager of large companies. I was awarded for my contribution to the development of the maritime economy in 2012 by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. At the 3rd European Congress of Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurs in Katowice, I was declared an honorary Ambassador of Female Entrepreneurship in Poland in 2013. In 2015, I received recognition from the city of Pula for special success in work and contribution to the development of women’s entrepreneurship. In 2018, I received the award for the best individual from the economy of the Istrian County under the name “Istriana”. In 2019, I was elected vice president of Business Europe. In 2019, in Vrnjačka Banja, I was awarded Lady of the Year – region / award for work, contribution and creativity /. For five years in a row, I have been recognized in the category of the top ten most powerful women in the Croatian economy. I was born and live in Pula, I am married and the mother of two children.”
