Florence Ranson has been Director of Communications for FoodDrinkEurope since April 2014. Before that, she was Head of Communications at the European Banking Federation for 12 years, after 4 years as Secretary General of the European Advertising Tripartite. She started her career as a project manager for Team Europe, a European Commission communication project, in 1990. Florence is also a founding member and now Treasurer of the EACD (European Association of Communication Directors) and Chair of the jury of the European Excellence Awards (Communications). She sits on the steering group of the Europcom conference and speaks regularly at events across Europe. A French national, Florence lives in Brussels and has been involved in EU public affairs and communications for over 25 years.
