
Born on March 28th, 1972, in Split, Croatia, Marina Čulić Fischer is a distinguished Croatian communications expert with extensive experience in public relations, strategic communications, and digital media. With a career spanning over three decades, she has established a notable presence in the communications industry both in Croatia and internationally.
Marina pursued higher education in mass communications, earning a Bachelor of Arts in TV Journalism in 1993 and a Master of Arts from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague in 1995. Further refining her expertise, she obtained the CIPR Teaching Qualification in 2008, along with the prestigious CIPR Foundation Award, Advanced Certificate, and Diploma.
Marina‘s career began in Prague in the early 1990s, where she worked at Ogilvy&Mather as a PR Supervisor, before advancing to BBDO Zagreb in 1995. At BBDO, she held various positions, including PR Supervisor, Account Manager, and Head of the Public Relations Department from 1998 to 2000. Her career trajectory led her to leadership roles within the BBDO Group Croatia, where she was a Member of the Management Board.
In 2000, she co-founded Dialog Communications, where she served as Managing Partner until 2005. She was instrumental in growing the agency and solidifying its place in the Croatian communications landscape. She continued to make an impact in the industry with her role as Managing Partner at Pleon Dialog from 2006 to 2009. During this time, she also served as an Associate Member of the Pleon Europe Board and as the New Business Coordinator for Central and Eastern Europe.
From 2009 to 2012, Marina continued to excel as Managing Partner at Pleon Partner, further cementing her reputation in the communications world. She then returned to Dialog Communications in 2013, where she resumed her position as Managing Partner and also chaired Proximity Zagreb between 2013 and 2016.
