Next year, the 22nd international PRO PR conference will be held in Hotel Katarina in Selce. This is the longest-running event and the only one that travels around the region bringing communications professionals the views of various PR experts.
The conference will be held from April 3rd to 6th at Hotel Katarina on the Crikvenica Riviera and the draft program has been officially published on the website where pre-registration starts, www.pro-pr.com. Participants can expect a total of 18 lectures and 2 roundtable discussions. One entitled “Communication Challenges of the Hotel Industry” and the other entitled “Where do Public Relations Experts Make the Most Mistakes; Ethics, Literacy, Methodology or Something Else Entirely”. For the first time, lecturers from Australia, John Croll, Co-Founder and CEO of Truescope and from Kenya, Gilbert Manirakiza, President and CEO of The Newmark Group will speak at the conference, as well as leaders of two global associations, Sukhjit Grewal, Director of Commercial Operations and Membership at the Chartered Institute of Relations (CIPR) and Andras Sztaniszlav, CEO of the International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO). As part of the conference, the PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards, whose nomination process officially began this week, will also be presented. The conference is held with the support of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) and the International Public Relations Association (IPRA).
The patron of this year’s conference is the city of Crikvenica, the Crikvenica Tourist Board, as well as the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
