Joined as a Trainee in PR in 1982 in Tata Steel, the 5th Largest Manufacturer of Steel in the World, Yogesh, handled Media Relations, Brand Custodian, Corporate & Financial Advertising, Financial Communications, Government Relations & Crisis Management. While doing so, he made use of Print, Electronic & Digital Media most effectively & also demonstrated an outstanding interpersonal communication skills especially with the bureaucrats & various ministries in India.
Yogesh is the President of the Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI), an oldest Body of Professional Business Communicators in Asia. He taught Corporate PR, Advertising in two of the Leading Communication Schools in Mumbai & was a visiting faculty at the Wee Kim Wee Institute of Communication Studies affiliated to the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, besides many other institutions in India.
A post-graduate in Mass-Communications with specialisation in PR from the Xavier Institute of Communication (XIC), Mumbai, Yogesh is widely travelled in 52 Nation, has learned Indian Classical Vocal Music for 24 Years & also learned Indian Astrology, Palmistry & have hobbies like Traveling, Photography, Singing. An avid reader, who knows 8 languages, Yogesh has a Collection of over 1000 books on various topics & equal number musical records, CDs, DVDs of Indian Music.
