As a director of Key7 communicational, cyber security, and risk management company, she orchestrates more than 30 high-end operatives from the critical energy infrastructure regionally and internationally, offering services to suit the most complex challenges of the public and private sectors. She is the PRCA Southeast Europe Network Slovenia Chapter Chair, awarded in 2023 with first place for crisis communication and corporate affairs by DAVOS WCFA and PRO PR, nominated by Reuters, Charge, and Energy Awards. Contributing to science in communication, she’s an author of the theory “Rubber Bullet” and a lecturer in the media, society, and communication field. Katja finished Oxford University’s Corporate Affairs Academy (Saïd Business School), Artificial Intelligence, and the Climate Emergency program. She is a Ph.D. candidate who engages women, critical infrastructure communicators, in the region’s significant dialogs of the energy sector. Katja Fašink was the Chief Communications Officer at ELES, a government-owned combined transmission and distribution system operator of the Republic of Slovenia, from 2017 to 2024, and CCO of ELES Group.
