With more than 20 years in the communication industry, starting her career as a journalist at public service broadcaster RTS and joining I&F McCann Grupa 16 years ago, Marija has always been driven by curiosity and openness in creating efficient and memorable communication along with her team and colleagues.
Building her career in all fields of communication and advertising, Marija was previously focused on guiding I&F McCann Grupa communication for all agency brands in 12 markets. During the last 5 years, she worked on key communication projects, helped to effectively manage the content the agencies created, and guided brand’s behavior through earned media. Along with agency teams she worked on several internationally and locally awarded campaigns.
In January 2018, Marija was promoted to Communications Director for Creative Excellence covering the Adriatic and Nordic regions with a focus on creating value for agency brands, through strategic, creative, digital, and team voice.
Marija believes that it’s all about finding the best solution to a challenge, which requires insight, solid strategy, engaging ideas, and effect. But it’s equally about listening, creating trust, and collaborating. From the first day, she was committed to close collaboration with industry members and the media, working constantly to create an open and connected community in the Adriatic region.
She is a graduate of Law School at the University of Belgrade and the London School of Public Relations. An active member of the European Association of Communication Directors, IAA, and several other associations.
