Ana Martinović

Ana Martinović

PR Manager at MTEL CRNA GORA

After graduating from the Faculty of Economics, she started to work at the Office of the Mayor of Podgorica in 2001. In March 2002 she was appointed a PR manager at the Cultural Information Center „Budo Tomovic“ in Podgorica.

The work in the field of PR was rather challenging at the time because it was a period of a great revival of this institution. Being a PR manager of the Tax Administration in the Government of Montenegro, she promoted the Take the Bill campaign, to educate and inform the Montenegrin public about the VAT introduction.

During this period Ms. Martinović completed courses in public relations including an LSPR course and a study visit to Washington, where she acquired professional knowledge from PR professionals from the State Department, CNN, the Washington Post, the Pentagon, the NBC TV, and VOA.

In 2004 she was appointed a representative of Montenegro in the European Society of Tax Administration and attended several important training courses in the field of public relations – in Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, and Baku.

In May 2007 she started to work with the Telecommunications Company „MTEL“ Ltd. Her biggest PR challenge so far, was to build a positive image of the 3rd mobile operator in a relatively small and saturated market and to win a quarter of the market share in the period of only 6 months.

At the moment, she is doing her master’s thesis at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Podgorica. She is married and a mother of three children.
